The first Monday and third Thursday of every month. Join us for a special storytime full of story songs, musical stories, and more!

Toddlers (18-36 months) and caregivers explore language and books in a fun and intimate setting. Programs include rhymes, songs and books as well as time for free play and informal discussion of early childhood development. Attendance limited to toddlers up to 36 months of age; no older children please.

Storytime for Children is at 2 p.m. every Thursday at the Reynolds Branch Library.

Enjoy books, songs and more at weekly storytimes for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

When: September 19, 2014 - 3:30pm

Join us every Friday afternoon for cooperative Minecraft gameplay. Participants will play in groups of four for 20-minute group or individual challenges. Want to share your latest creation? Bring your personal computer or handheld gaming device along to play. We have room for 16 players every Friday, on a first-come first-served basis. Recommended for ages 7 and up. No Minecrafternoon on 10/31 or 12/26.

Reynolds Reading Pals
When: September 20, 2014 - 4:30pm - 5:30pm

K-3 Children pair up with high school volunteers for reading and literacy activities. Fall sessions run on Tuesdays or Saturdays 4:30-5:30, Tuesday, September 9 through Saturday, November 22.

When: September 21, 2014 - 2:00pm - 5:30pm

Learn to play the ancient and mysterious board game known as Go. Developed 4000 years ago in China, the rules are so simple they can be taught in a few minutes--but it can take a lifetime to master the game. Go boards are provided and take-home sets made of cardboard are available for free. Ages 5 and up.

When: September 22, 2014 - 4:30pm - 6:00pm

Sponsored by the Boulder Library Foundation, Reading Buddies is a program of BoulderReads! for children in Kindergarten through fifth grade who struggle with reading. The children are each matched one-to-one to their own big buddy who will meet with them weekly for 13 weeks. The big buddies are all CU students who receive college service learning credit for the time they spend working with their little buddies, and are trained by BoulderReads! to read aloud to their little buddies and help them identify their own tastes in reading. This great program is made possible by a grant from the Boulder Library Foundation, as well as by in-kind donations from the University of Colorado and CU students.
