Four Funny Films (with dogs!)
Remind me Download to calendar Notify me
Four classic comedy films from the silent era will be accompanied by live music. The silent era was a time of wild invention, amazing stunts, and very funny movies. A selection of films, ranging from acknowledged classics to rarely-screened obscurities will be introduced and accompanied by Rodney Sauer, the pianist for the Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra. Mr. Sauer has played for silent films all over the country since 1994, and has made a special study of historically-accurate accompaniment of silent films.
The Cook (1918), starring Buster Keaton and Roscoe Arbuckle
Dog Shy (1926), starring Charley Chase
A Dog's Life (1918), starring Charlie Chaplin
The Scarecrow (1920), starring Buster Keaton
Co-sponsored by a generous grant from the Boulder Library Foundation
