Please join us for storytimes at the NoBo Corner Library, happening weekly on Tuesdays at 10:15 a.m! Enjoy stories, rhymes and songs with your children!

Earn volunteer hours and give back to the community by pairing up with K-3 children for reading and literacy activities. Spring sessions run on Tuesdays or Saturdays 4:30-5:30, June 9th through August 1st. No session June 30th and July 4th.

Crawlers and beginning toddlers (9-24 months) explore language and books with their caregivers in a fun and intimate setting. Programs include rhymes, songs and books as well as time for free play and informal discussion of early childhood development. Attendance limited to crawlers and beginning toddlers up to 24 months of age; no older children please.

A 40 minute storytime to engage children with read-alouds, songs, action rhymes, finger play and more! Together we will learn sounds, letter recognition, new words and a love of books. Younger siblings are welcome.

Scissors, hot glue guns and crafting - oh my! Break out your creative side and join us in Craft Story Club. Each session, we read books and then make a craft inspired by the stories. This very special storytime encourage motor skills, socialization, creativity and fun! Recommended for ages 3 and up.

When: July 22, 2015 - 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Bring your Bitsbox, Scratch, Digital Sandbox, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and more projects to the Open Hack sessions with Coder Dojo. Drop in any time from 4-6pm. Volunteers and experienced coders will be on hand to help you debug your code when things aren't working or provide ideas to take it to the next level. You will also be able to show off your creations on the big screen. This is not a class but rather a community building event to help kids and teens expand their creativity as they apply their technical skills in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Beginners to advanced coders are welcome and parents encouraged to participate! Bring your own laptop if you can. The library has a very limited supply of Laptops and Digital Sandboxes for youth to use.
